Meet the friendly staff at Turner Veterinary Service!
Kacie joined the team in 2009 as a receptionist and is now the Manager. She can be found in her office, helping out back, or at the front desk. Kacie enjoys spending time with her husband Matt, and their three children, Kameo, Kennedy and Beau. They enjoy being outside doing just about anything and being at camp. Kacie has one dog; 'Jefferson', three cats, alpacas, pigs, cows, chickens and a goat.
Michelle has been in the veterinary field since 2012, joining Turner Veterinary Service in August 2017. She takes pride in her role here at TVS which includes, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering the phones, and over all making sure our patients and clients feel welcomed! When not in the office she is with her son, Kent. They enjoy anything involved with being outdoors, and taking care of their handful of pets.
Shelley joined TVS in 2006 and is responsible for scheduling your appointment, greeting and checking you in and out and making sure the schedule runs smoothly. When Shelley is not at work she enjoys camping, ice fishing, going to the ocean and the car races, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Rhonda holds an Associate Degree in Animal Medical Technology and has worked at TVS since 1997. She handles all aspects of animal care, including laboratory analysis, radiology, surgical assisting, client education and equipment maintenance. An avid ATV-er, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Marc, at their camp and riding ATV trails around the state of Maine.
Ashley graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal & Veterinary Sciences, and came to work full time at TVS, in May 2011. She assists our doctors in the clinic with appointments, lab work and surgeries. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her husband, Tony, and their children, Addy and Blake. She has two dogs, ‘River’ and ‘Chase’, two cats, and chickens.
Brandi has always had a passion for animals. This passion led her to know what she wanted to do in life since she was a child. Brandi graduated in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Sciences. She is so grateful to have become a part of the Turner Veterinary Service team. She loves spending her free time with her family and fiancé Jayson. Brandi loves taking her crazy, young dogs Remi and Emma for walks. When not working, she loves camping and kayaking.
Sandy joined our team in 2019. Before coming to TVS, she worked at Rumford Animal Hospital for 15 years. Sandy lives in Peru with her husband Paul, 2 cats and her dog, Sawyer. She loves spending time with her 2 sons, a daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren.
Hailey is currently studying animal science at Unity College, as well as gaining hands-on experience and training at TVS. Hailey’s goals are to become a veterinarian one day, and is so grateful for TVS for helping her with this goal. She and her boyfriend, Nathaniel, love their crazy dogs: Mason, Addie, and Wesley, and try to be outside playing with them every chance possible. Outside of work Hailey enjoys walks, four-wheeling, and nighttime drives.
Angel comes to us with a history of rescuing and fostering anything that needed love. She can be found intaking appointments, assisting the doctors, helping out front, and many other places in the clinic. Angel loves spending her free time with her daughter Emma. She enjoys anything outdoors from hiking with her pup, to fishing and kayaking.
Lexie has worked in the veterinary field since 2020. She just recently moved from NH to ME and joined the TVS team. Since she was little, she has always known that working with animals is what she wanted to do for a career. When Lexie is not at work, her and her boyfriend Caleb love to spend time with their crazy pup Kane. Lexie also has a horse and spends a lot of her free time at the barn.
